I was in a state of sheer panic. Of course it is not a surprise to be stressed before the day of the wedding. After all, it was the most important day of my daughter's life, & one of the most proud days of mine.

I figured that it may look different once we got in to the room & not be a sign of the other elements of the decor the way that I wanted. But when he screwed up at the last minute, it was more than I could take.

It wasn't like the flower arrangements for the wedding were slightly off. They were not right at all. If the flower arrangements for weddings had been, say, a lighter shade of purple as an alternative to the dark purple that I had elected, it would have been alright. As it was, they were altogether different. I assume that combined them with some other arrangements for weddings ordered by some other wedding day party. They were probably having the same nervous breakdown that I was having right now. As opposed to the dark violet floral wedding bouquet that we had preferred, we're presented with a collection of Calla lily arrangements. I think that calla lilies make beautiful floral arrangements for weddings, but they did not go along with anything. They clashed terribly. All the guests were gracious about it, but I can not believe that nobody noticed!
