As a family md, you'd be astonished at how often I'm asked for carb-restricted diet facts. You see, everybody is dieting nowadays. It used to be just teen-age girls who wanted to lose fat, but more & more in our culture, people are self conscious about the way they appear. It is ironic because we are more corpulent than we have ever been as a nation, & yet at the same time we look at our-selves more critically in the mirror every day.
